Description
Astaxanthin is derived from a natural source, namely the microalgae Heamatococcus pluvialis. The algae grow in Hawaii, where the optimal environment ensures that they get plenty of sunshine and fresh water all year round.
The algae are carefully dried using a patented process, ground to a fine powder and then dissolved in the oil.
