This organic cheese is produced in the small community of Marul. The mountain village was honored in 1997 as an organic village known for its environmental and organic consciousness. In the summer months, the organic cheese is also made on the Walserstolz Alps of the Great Walser Valley.
Happy cows are the source of this high-quality organic product. Walserstolz "Our Organic Cheese" is produced in organic mountain dairies and then lovingly aged for at least eight months. It tastes fragrant and balanced and is part of an enjoyable, healthy diet.
