Gruber Röschitz Winery Ried Mühlberg Weinviertel DAC Reserve 2017

The oldest location of the organic winery is Mühlpoint, here there is a pronounced microclimate. This powerful, dry white wine is thoroughly selected. On average only 1 cluster per vine is chosen. This promotes the concentration of the taste of each grape. The grapes stay healthy and ripen better. The hand-picking never takes place before the beginning of November. The southern exposure guarantees many hours of sunshine and increases maturity.

In the glass, there is already an inviting scent of mango, papaya, a little blossom honey. On the palate, a creamy, very pleasing taste of fine meadow herbs and orange zest is apparent. Juicy, quite complex, with balanced acidity and dark minerality on the finish. It finishes with a delicious apple fruitiness.

After 12 months in a large wooden barrel, the wines begin to mature. The wine can safely be stored for another 10 years.
