About the grapes:

• The Traminer wines from the southern Styrian wine region of Klöch are among the most expressive wines in Europe. The have an intense fragrance in the bouquet that is typical for this variety. They also have a flowery fruitiness, a deep aroma, and a delicate acidity.
• The Traminer and Gewürztraminer grapes are the same grape variety. While the Traminer grapes boast a fine bouquet with a wild rose scent, the Gewürztraminer grape has a distinctly stronger and spicy bouquet with notes of cloves and thyme.
• The Gewürztraminer is an excellent aperitif and dessert wine. As an accompaniment, it is ideal for poultry and fish dishes, spicy dishes and various cheeses.
