Parsley originates from the Mediterranean and is now cultivated around the whole world, with the exception of Asia. Parsley is so versatile that it has enumerable uses. Its mild flavor and the sweet and savoury aroma, makes it a great fit for soups, meat dishes, sauces, fish and potatoes. Parsley is a great source of vitamins, particularly vitamins C, E and provitamin A. It aids in digestion and has a blood cleansing effect.
