In cooperation with Austrian veterinarians, Pezzlife has developed a urine test that you can carry out at home which examines the dog's urine and detects health risks at an early stage. Problems with the kidneys and the urinary tract in particular, can be detected early for quicker and less expensive treatment.

1 Handle

To reduce stress on both your dog and you, the handle is extendable to make the sample collection as easy as possible. This avoids getting dog pee on your fingers, having to sneak up on your dog or having to bend uncomfortably.

1x Urine Test Bowl

The urine test bowl is a hygienic way to collect an uncontaminated urine sample. The test bowl equipped with the ISO-certified urine test strip is made of bio-plastic and therefore has only a minimal impact on the environment. In order not to falsify the test result due to leftover residue, each urine bowl can only be used once.

The Pezz App

After the sample collection, the test strip on the underside of the urine bowl can be scanned with a smartphone and Pezz life takes care of the rest. Each test is analysed by experts within a few hours and the result is displayed on the Pezz app. The app is available free of charge in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

Step 1: Unpacking & Setting Up

Unpack the Pezz life kit and attach the handle to the urine test bowl.

Step 2: Collect a Urine Sample

Collect approx. 5 ml of urine (a teaspoonful) in the test cup and hold the handle horizontally so that the urine can flow along the test strip.

Step 3:

Then turn the bowl upside down & empty it so that the urine flows out of the cup.

Step 4:

After waiting for 60 seconds, the colours of the 7 parameters on the urine test strip change completely.

Step 5:

Use the Pezz app to scan the bottom of the urine testing bowl to capture the readings.

Step 6:

Within a few hours, the test will be checked and evaluated by experts. A notification will be sent to your smartphone as soon as the result is available. In the app, you can look up the results at any time along with a detailed explanation of the test result.
