Schnitzstub'n Peitler Game "Fox and Hens"

The goal of this game is for the fox to capture as many hens so that the pen does not become full. The hens' aim is to get all 13 hens into the pen.

Instructions:

Player 1 has 13 hens and player 2 has 2 foxes. The game is to be set up as displayed in the imagine. The player with the hens begins by rolling 2 dice. The players roll the dice alternately. Each hen is allowed to move to the next field in any direction except backwards. The aim is to get all 13 hens in the pen. The fox is only allowed to make one move, however, he may move in all directions. If the fox is standing in front of a hen and the hole behind the hen is empty, he can jump over the hen to the empty hole, thereby capturing it. Multiple jumps are allowed. If the fox forgets to jump, the player with the hens move the fox into any field until the next hen is captured. The fox wins when less than 13 hens reach the pen. The hens win when all 13 hens are safely in the pen.
