Johanna Raudaschl, the family Trapp cook, took care of the culinary well-being of the family around 1930. The wonderful cooking ideas and recipes of traditional cuisine were written down by her granddaughter, Irmgard Wöhrl, together with the journalist Caroline Kleibel and ultimately the "The Trapp Cookbook" was born.

The impressions and memories of Johanna Raudaschl, who was practically part of the family, are illustrated through numerous, lovingly recipes portrayed in this cookbook.
