Rare white grape variety from the volcanic land

Description
The white wine variety seedling 88 (also called Scheurebe) is only rarely found in Austria. This very exotic fragrant variety was bred in Germany in 1916 by Georg Scheu and cultivated there as before.
This beautiful specimen is a prime example of the variety and shows that it can also be used in Styria. On the nose, it is full of ripe apricots and peaches, which are reflected on the palate with subtle fruity sweetness. Add some currants and mild acidity and you get a light, juicy and playful note on the finish.
A tasteful specimen to inspire friends at a party. Fits wonderfully in the warm season, as an Apertif or even a dream as "seedling splash"!
