A very juicy and full-bodied representative of the Styrian volcanic region.

Grauburgunder (or Pinot Gris) is becoming more and more fashionable. This magnificent specimen won us over immediately during the blind tasting. Firstly, it is a great representative of the varietal, secondly, the fine acidity of Southeast Styria ensures the wine slips down easily and thirdly, it is an immensely juicy wine with a certain smoothness. These three points merge perfectly!

After six months in steel tanks and a somewhat large wooden barrel, hints of caramel and ripe pear rise on the nose. Full and harmonious on the palate with a beautiful body. Juicy pear, a little vanilla, herbs and citrus freshness round off the long finish. For the next six years, the wine will be a lot of fun.

Pairs well with risotto, wild boar or vegetables and strong sauces.
