Berghofer Mühle Brioche Baking Mix

Whether you enjoy these brioches with butter and fruity jam for breakfast or serve them as an accompaniment to afternoon coffee, brioche are always an irresistible treat. With this baking mix you can easily bake your own brioche yourself and enjoy them fresh from the oven.

Baking instructions:

Mix 750 g of baking mix with 3 level teaspoons of dry yeast (or 1 cube of fresh yeast), 75 g of soft butter (or vegetable fat) and approx. 310 ml of tepid water. You may need to add a small amount of water to the mixture to create a uniform consistency. Knead the dough well and allow to proof for approx. 20 minutes.

Shape the dough and allow to proof for an additional 30 minutes. Coat with egg and bake at approx. 180°C until lightly brown.

Tip: after coating with a thin layer of egg, sprinkle some almond flakes on the top.
