Fink's Delikatessen Tomato Pesto with Chili

With Penne
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, strain and reduce 1/4 litre of the pasta water to half its volume in a saucepan. Add the freshly cooked penne and tomato pesto, mix well and season with olive oil, salt and pepper. One jar of pesto is enough for 2 people. The pasta water contains a lot of starch and you can use it to achieve the perfect consistency in pasta dishes.
