With a little patience and care, these seeds will grow into your very own Nordmann fir, ready to make its grand entrance on Christmas Day.

Soft needles, a rich green colour and a gorgeous fragrance make the Nordmann fir one of the most popular Christmas trees available.

Contents:

- 7 Nordmann fir seeds (lat. Abies nordmanniana)
- 1 x growing instructions on the back of the packet

Cultivation:

• Presoak the seeds in cold water for approx. 12 hours
• Then store in an air-permeable bowl in the refrigerator for approx. 12 hours.
• Remove the seeds from the refrigerator and moisten with cold water. Make sure that no water remains in the bowl.
• Repeat the last process every two days.
• After about 3 to 5 weeks, the first white shoots appear - the seedling can now be planted.
• Add a little lukewarm water to the coconut coir tablet in the coconut pot.
• Place a maximum of 2 seeds approx. 1 cm deep into the coco coir substrate.
• Place the coconut pot in a sunny and warm place.
• Start fertilising when the plant is approx. 10 cm tall.

Further information:

• When the plant is about 10 cm tall, it can be transplanted either into a pot or into the garden.
• Protect the tree from frost for the first few years.
• It takes around 7 years for the Christmas tree to grow to about 2 m tall.
