The young leaves are used raw in all kinds of salads, on cold cut platters, on pizzas or can be served warm as a side dish.

Useful information:
- Harvest the young leaves with a length of approx. 15 cm just before flowering
- Suitable for sowing in balcony boxes
- Keep moist during the germination period
- Rucola thrives on finely crumbly soil in a sunny to partially shaded location
- Sow thinly in rows or broadly and cover lightly with soil
- If necessary, cover the seeds with fleece to keep them warm
- Rocket needs a good water supply, otherwise the leaves will become uncomfortably spicy and the plants will flower quickly
