As part of their 50th anniversary celebrations, STAUD's has chosen a few exquisite treasures from their traditional recipe collection, such as this delicious plum jam. Called Powidl in Austria, this jam is made from aromatic, sun-ripened plums. Great as a spread or a filling in cakes and pastries.
Tip: Powidl is as much a part of Austria's baking tradition as Sissi is to Vienna's Schönbrunn Palace. It is perfect as a filling in yeast dumplings or puff pastry triangles and also when spread on buttered bread - very versatile and flavourful.
