Preparation:
Shaken
- The fast method for the generation that wants to have fun: Fill the Zotter Special Shaker (note – a normal shaker is not suitable!) with 0.2 L hot milk, drop the drinking chocolate bar into it, shake until it dissolves and enjoy!
Stirred
- This is the slow and classic method for gourmets and slow food activists who take their time and appreciate ritual.
- First, heat 0.2 or 0.3 L milk as per taste and froth it. Soak the drinking chocolate bar in the milk for 1-2 minutes and whisk. Let the drink rest for another 1-2 minutes for the aromas to develop fully. Whisk again and enjoy!
Mixed
- Add one drinking chocolate bar to 0.2 L or 0.3 L milk in a mixer and mix. Alternatively, use an immersion blender and mix the milk and drinking chocolate bar in a suitable container. The frothy drinking chocolate is ready to enjoy!
Drinking chocolate can also be made with a milk alternative made of oats, rice, soy etc. Plus, you can refrigerate the prepared drinking chocolate and serve it chilled with ice cubes.
