About Gewürztraminer wines:
These wines from the Klöch southern Styrian wine region are among the most expressive wines in Europe. These top quality wines have an intense fragrance, a flowery fruity finesse and a velvety-soft, deep flavour with delicate acidity.
The Traminer and Gewürztraminer wines are from the same grape variety. While the Traminer boasts a fine varietal bouquet with a typical wild rose scent and the Gewürztraminer has a distinctly stronger and spicy bouquet with notes of cloves and thyme.
The Gewürztraminer is an excellent aperitif and dessert wine. As an accompaniment, it is ideal with poultry and fish dishes, spicy dishes and various cheeses.
