Birgit Eichinger Winery Riesling Strass Kamptal DAC 2017

The grapes for this elegant wine come from different vineyards in the Strassertal. The soils are characterized by their high proportion of primary rock, which is packed in a mixture of loess and brown earth. Also, the lime content in the soil is above average in these vineyards. It is this which gives the wine its unmistakable minerality and puristic nature. Fine stone fruit on the nose while on the palate, juicy and engaging. The robust bite is supported by a great mineral and ends with a nice, long-lasting finish.

A typical, drinking and elegant Riesling as it should be - makes a lot of fun solo and fits perfectly with grilled fish.
