Description
Elité Hay Flakes is a complete hay substitute. The mixture of grass flakes, alfalfa pellets and chopped alfalfa hay is perfect for upgrading the daily hay base feed in terms of both quality and quantity. It is also ideal for mixing into concentrated feed to slow down the speed of feed intake. In addition, the Elité Hay Flakes in dry form support chewing intensity and the resulting increased salivation.
Feeding recommendation:
Approx. 1-1.5 kg per 100 kg live weight per day.
To upgrade the basic feed, 1.0-2.0 kg per small horse/pony per day or 1.5-3 kg per large horse per day.
Feeding Advice:
For horses with chewing problems, soak Elitè Hay Flakes in warm water.
