Obstbau Gsöls Styrian Scarlet Runner Beans

Gsöls Obstbau is a well-known fruit-growing company from south-east Styria that has recently specialized in the "Styrian Scarlet Runner Bean". The beans are grown in rows in Feldbach without corn as a supporting plant. The ripe beans are finally picked with an innovative harvesting technique.

The advantage to this system is that the beans don't come into contact with any other fruit and are neither damaged nor contaminated. The beans are dried at low temperatures and are gently cleaned and sorted with a self-developed cleaning system. They taste delicious in salads and side dishes.

Bean production is certified according to the Global GAP guidelines. The beans are also certified Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and "Plattform zum Schutz der Steirischen Käferbohnen" (Platform to Protect the Styrian Scarlet Runner Bean). You can be sure that all steps of the production have taken place on their own premises in southeastern Styria.
