RoughCut Chopping Board Dark Ash

The RoughCut chopping board is a stylish, practical and high-quality kitchen tool. It is made using ash wood from sustainable production sites in Austria. The modern design boasts a few top-notch features such as the "Topfrutche" (German for "pan slide") which ensures that nothing is lost when wiped off the board into the pan while the groove alongside the edge of the board catches every drop of juice, which can then be neatly poured over the rim. The baguette edge is a nifty feature that helps you cut bread into straight slices. The "Stell-mich-auf“ (German for "stand up straight") edge allows you to store the board in an upright position for easy retrieval.

The chopping board is easy to clean and can be used on both sides - Simply rinse under running water with a little bit of dish soap. However, do not place the chopping board in the dishwasher or oven. The ash wood may appear lighter and more matte when delivered as is displayed on the image on the website. Simply wipe with linseed or sunflower oil before first use. This results in a rich, protective shimmer, lending the board a classic dark brown shade.
