Description
Buckwheat flour, also called Heidenmehl in Styria, is a gluten-free alternative to conventional flour. Buckwheat is naturally free from gluten as it is not a true cereal. Buckwheat is a type of knotweed. It can be used in many ways and is particularly recommended for use in "Heidensterz", a classic Styrian recipe.
Tip: Heidensterz tastes great with a hearty mushroom soup.
