Description
You can sprinkle blue poppy seeds on bread and tools before baking or mix them into your bowl of breakfast cereal. You can also grind them to use in desserts or as a filling in cakes such as poppy seed strudel.
Tip: Compared to grey poppy seeds, blue poppy seeds have an intensely nutty, slightly bitter taste. This comes out even better if you briefly toast the grains in a pan until they start to give off their lovely aroma. They can then be ground for further use if desired.
