Bake Affair Organic Waffles, 367 g

Golden brown, soft waffles are not only delicious for breakfast but are also popular as a dessert or a sweet afternoon snack. And with this convenient organic mix by Bake Affair, the batter is ready in a flash: wheat flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda are already mixed in the right proportions. All you have to do is add a few fresh ingredients.

Tip: A waffle maker is required.

For 7 waffles you need:

Classic variant:

• 1 can organic waffle baking mix
• 3 eggs
• 60 g butter
• 320 ml milk or 400 ml buttermilk

Vegan variant:

• 1 can organic waffle baking mix
• 320 ml plant milk of your choice
• 1 tbsp neutral vegetable oil or coconut fat

You will also need some oil or butter to grease your waffle maker.

Optional: toppings as desired (fresh fruit, icing sugar, whipped cream, syrup, ice cream ...)

Resting time for the batter: 5 minutes

So easy to make:

1. Open the seal on the can and pour the baking mix into a bowl or into your Thermomix.
2. Classic variant: Gently warm up 60 g butter on the stove or in the microwave (for about 30 seconds) until it becomes liquid.
3. Use the measuring line in the can to measure the required amount of milk or plant-based drink (320 ml) or buttermilk (400 ml) and carefully pour it over the baking mix. Add the remaining ingredients (3 eggs and liquid butter for the classic variant or 1 tbsp vegetable oil for the vegan variant).
4. Mix everything for about 1 minute with the whisk, hand mixer or food processor. In the Thermomix you use level 5 for about 10 seconds.
5. Let the batter rest for about 5 minutes.
6. Grease the waffle maker and preheat it.
7. Pour the batter into the waffle maker with a ladle and let it bake for about 4 - 5 minutes. The baking time depends on how crispy you like your waffles.
8. Carefully remove the waffles, garnish with the desired toppings and enjoy!
