Destillerie Farthofer Organic Premium Rum

Caribbean pleasure made in Austria! This is a brown organic premium rum with lemongrass flavours, which is stored in Mostello barrels giving it a unique taste!

Organic sugar cane molasses imported from overseas is processed in Austria into a fresh, slightly exotic brown rum. With aromas such as lemongrass, dried almonds, caramel and fine tobacco flavour, it is an extraordinary treat. It is matured in a used "Mostello barrel" (try our Mostello too!) which is a French oak barrel previously housing its own delicious pear dessert wine, the Mostello.

After 12 months, it is transformed into a slightly sweet and mellow rum and filled in 0.7-litre bottles. It has an alcohol content of 40% vol. The rum is best enjoyed at 18-20 degrees for a full-fledged aroma.
