My Herbs Lemongrass Tea

Lemongrass has taken the world by storm - it is known and loved almost everywhere! It spices up many delicious dishes from various cuisines and is also highly valued in herbal medicine. It is supposed to originate from Sri Lanka or southern India.

This lemongrass tea infusion tastes wonderfully refreshing and its intense citrus aromas make it a popular thirst quencher. The reason for this tangy, lively aroma is the high content of essential oils, which unfurl when heated.

The manufacturer recommends 1-2 teaspoons per cup for preparation. Pour boiling water over it, cover and let stand for at least 8 to 10 minutes. Suitable for a second infusion.

Store cool and dry.
