The "Asia Garden" makes a perfect gift for those wanting to grow fresh herbs. Not only is it fun to grow the herbs, but the results are also quite delicious! Add them to noodles, salads, stir-fries and more to round off the flavours perfectly. The herbs can be grown on the windowsill so they are quickly at hand while you're cooking.

The box contains 4 different herbs/vegetables as well as 10 grams of organic fertiliser by Kokoto (100% organic, ideal for the first use), and a postcard to colour (printed on 100% recycled cardboard).

• 50 lemongrass seeds (Latin Cymbopogon flexuosus)
• 50 coriander seeds (Latin Coriandrum sativum)
• 500 Green Mizuna seeds (Latin Brassica japonica)
• Thai basil (Latin Ocimum basilicum Thai)

Lemongrass is great for soups and sauces, thanks to its exotic, lemony taste. Coriander makes an indispensable spice for Asian cuisine. Green Mizuna, also called Japanese mustard, has a subtle spiciness, is very rich in vitamins and is very cold-tolerant. The Thai basil is perfect for soups and salads and has a liquorice-like flavour.

Cultivation:

• Lemongrass & coriander: all year round in pots on the windowsill or in the winter garden
• Japanese mustard cabbage (Green Mizuna): very cold-tolerant (great source of vitamins for late autumn)
• Thai basil: very warmth-loving - do not plant outdoors until mid-May
