Description
The rapid heat conduction property of this iron pan by RIESS is ideal for quickly searing foods at high temperatures. The pan actually gets better with age as it absorbs fats and develops a patina with non-stick properties that serves as a protection against rusting and corrosion. It has a sturdy handle with a hooked end that can be used to hang it up.
Cleaning:
Do not put the pan in the dishwasher, just wipe it clean with a kitchen towel after use. If it is very dirty, clean it with water, salt and a brush and let it dry completely (for example, by placing it on a warm stovetop.
Note:
Before the first use, the wax layer, which serves as rust protection, must be removed with hot water.
