Useful information:

• Pumpkins grow especially well on compost heaps. They prefer humus-rich, loose, warm soils in a sunny, sheltered location, need a lot of warmth (using black mulch film might be a good idea to keep your soil warm) and a lot of water.
• When sowing, insert 2-3 seeds per 9 cm pot or per hole. Grow the seeds in pots before planting them outdoors. After the germination period, it is best to put them in a sunny place. Only select the strongest plants.
