Description
The Chardonnay from Straden is a local wine with a medium-bodied character. The grapes are grown in the south-east Styrian town of Straden and reflect the beauty and balance of the landscape.
The wine is made from selectively hand-picked grapes and is then aged in large wooden barrels. The wine thus unfold wonderfully on the palate with the aroma of citrus fruits and fresh meadow herbs. The dry wine has a fine fruity flavour. The invigorating acidity and exotic fruits such as mango and melon meet a slightly salty, long finish.
A classy wine that is versatile and affordable. Perfect with poultry, pasta with hearty sauces and light grilled meat.
