Description

The Low Carb Macaroni by Recheis not only looks like regular wheat pasta, it tastes similar too! Made with beans and pea flour, it has 30% fewer carbohydrates! The legumes in the recipe ensure a high protein content per serving. As with all Recheis products, this plant-based pasta is made with 100% natural ingredients.

Serving suggestion: in pan-fried pasta recipes, mac and cheese and pasta salads.

Cooking time: 6 minutes

Preparation:

  1. Bring a large pot of water to the boil.
  2. Add the desired amount of pasta and salt to taste to the boiling water.
  3. Stir occasionally while cooking. There is a subtle aroma of legumes as the pasta cooks.
  4. Cook for 6 minutes for an al dente texture.
  5. Rinse the drained Low Carb pasta with cold water to ensure it remains firm to the bite.
