Description
Create unique dessert variations with this superbly aromatic and unique dessert spice mix. The aroma of fresh oranges complemented with a hint of vanilla and thyme goes very well with caramelised fruit from the grill. It also adds a delicious note to tarts, creams and other desserts.
Recipe for Flambéed Apricots with Dessert Cream':
- Cut the apricots in half and remove the pits, grill on both sides and season each half with ½ to 1 tsp of the spice mix. Caramelise over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
- For the dessert cream: Stir 1-2 tbsp of Orangethyme Dessert Spice into 200 g quark or fresh cheese and 50 g yoghurt.
