The GRANBARREL Sauvignon Blanc Ried Neusetzberg 2017 from the Krispel winery is a great white wine matured for 12 months in a granite stone barrel. This single-vineyard wine from the Styrian Vulkandland region with great storage potential is exotic, lively and clear. This Sauvignon Blanc from the summit area of Neusetzberg has a completely new, natural and mineral style thanks to storage in the 1,200-litre granite barrels. It can be stored until 2030 or longer, and is the result of a premium product in a class of its own!

Aromatic varieties, such as Sauvignon Blanc, harmonize particularly well with the new barrel, which helps to bring out the crystal clear taste of the fruit. It is radiant, light green-yellow in colour with a delicate bouquet of exotic passion fruit, mango and fresh herbs. It is youthful, juicy and dry on the palate and the dense aroma seduces from the first sip. Perfectly balanced acidity makes the wine lively with a delicate, stony, mineral and long finish.
