The GRANBARREL Muskateller 2017 from the Krispel winery is a white wine from Styria which is stored on must matured in granite stone barrels. It is matured for 12 months in a stone barrel and is limited to 1,500 bottles. This wine is light, multi-layered and, because it was aged in 1,200-litre stone barrels, it also has a natural mineral flavour. It goes well with Asian dishes, baked vegetables or simply on its own. A premium product in a class of its own!

The fragrant aromatic grape variety "Gelber Muskateller" harmonizes particularly well with the stone barrel and, thanks to the fermentation on the mash, brings more complexity to the glass. Matt golden yellow in colour, it has a scent typical of the variety with aromas of nutmeg, fresh meadow herbs and light peach. It is dry on the palate with a delicate bite, and light, yet with a powerful volume. Every sip is exciting, cool and invigorating, fruity and rocky, with a long finish. This gorgeous wine has good storage potential until 2028.
