ZIRP Insects Oat Patties Mix

This ready to use mix for oat patties makes about 10-12 small patties. Based on oatmeal, the patty mix includes mealworm powder and seasonings. The patties are a good source of protein and make a quick and easy meal.

Additional ingredients required:

• Vegetable oil
• Water
• Measuring cup

Preparation:

1. Mix 250 ml of warm water with the mix and allow to absorb for 10 minutes.
2. Shape 10-12 patties from the mixture, using damp hands.
3. Heat some vegetable oil over low heat in a pan and fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
4. Drain on a paper towel and serve.

Tip:

• A yoghurt-based dip with fresh herbs and a fresh, crunchy salad go perfectly with the patties.

• If you are allergic to house dust mites, crustaceans, molluscs or shellfish, do not eat these insects.
