Description
CHARLINE charcoal feed for calves adds the advantages of biochar to animal nutrition, as has been known for many years. Due to the large surface area and the associated physical effects, biochar can have a positive effect on digestion and thus indirectly on the whole animal. This feed binds harmful substances in the gastrointestinal tract, supports growth and bone formation, and all that at a very low dosage. This is a 100% natural product from Austria and is purely plant-based. It has shown to be effective in dealing with problems such as diarrhoea, especially after stressful situations such as auctions.
Dosage: 0.5 - 1.0% of the feed or 0.4 g / kg body weight and day.
(e.g. 500 kg calf = 250 g charcoal powder / day).
Composition: Feed charcoal is made up of a mix of different types of biochar and is optimised for calves.
