Ehrenwort Pink Salt from Bolivia, 115 g

The non-iodised pink salt from Bolivia owes its name to the delicate pink colour which indicates its high iron content. It tastes fine and mild and goes well with poultry, fish and game, lamb and beef.

This special salt is harvested in the high plateaus of the Andes where it is hidden under thick layers of volcanic rock. These protect the salt from environmental pollution and excessive exposure to the sun. In addition to iron, it also contains calcium, potassium and magnesium. The coarse salt is perfect as a finishing salt and looks gorgeous in a transparent salt mill on the table.
