Description
The Rhubarb Fig Chutney also tastes excellent with baked goat cheese! Spread the rhubarb chutney over toast and cover with smoked salmon and camembert, the briefly grill or bake in the oven.
Tip: Serve with grilled and roasted meats (such as lamb, beef or steak), ham or aged cheeses.
Recipe Suggestion:
Calf liver
Thinly slice shallots and button mushrooms. Sautee with hot oil in a pan and keep aside. Sautee sliced calf liver until pink. Add the mushrooms and shallots. Season with salt and pepper. Add a piece of cold butter and mix in. Add Rhubarb-Fig chutney to taste. Serve with mashed potatoes.
