Schilcher is a Styrian wine specialty that is characterized by a crisp acidity and a great fruitiness. This vinegar is made from the juice of highly aromatic schilcher grapes. To get to the typical flavor of Schilcher wine, Gölles matures the Schilcher vinegar only in stainless steel tanks. With its freshness and fine fruity notes it is an ideal ingredient for bean and potato salads.
Recipe idea:
Carrot salad with cress
Cook baby carrots until soft, then marinate with cumin, schilcher vinegar and sunflower seed oil and serve sprinkled with cress.
