100% UV protection for your children's eyes

Children have larger pupils compared to adults and their sensitive retinal cells are more exposed to UV light. However, many children's sunglasses are often simply smaller versions of adult sunglasses which do not offer sufficient protection and can cause serious damage to the tissues and cells of their eyes.

How much protection do sunglass lenses offer?

Sunglass lenses can be divided into four categories:

• CAT 0 - Very limited protection against sun glare.
• CAT 1 - Limited protection against sun glare.
• CAT 2 - Good protection against sun glare.
• CAT 3 - HIGH PROTECTION AGAINST SUN GLARE.
• CAT 4 - Very high protection against extreme sun glare, e.g. (at sea, high mountains, desert)

The startup SooNice has chosen to make category 3 glasses because they are ideal for children's eyes.

Offers protection also from the side:

The side protective shields prevent UV rays reflected by water or snow from reaching your child's eyes from the sides.

Made for kids:

The sunglasses are made of ECONYL nylon, a material which is derived from plastic waste, which makes them somewhat flexible and particularly light. This also ensures that the glasses cannot break easily. They have also developed their own hinges which allow a temple piece that has come off to be easily reattached with a click. The full-size glasses feature high-quality, scratch-resistant lenses designed for all kinds of adventures from sandy beaches to hiking in the mountains.

ECONYL®, regenerated nylon

It was a priority to the founders of SooNice not to introduce any new plastic into circulation in order to leave our children a better world. For this reason, the sunglasses are made of ECONYL nylon, which is made from 100% nylon waste that can be regenerated indefinitely.
