Description
Organic Stewed Elderberries by Staud's is a wonderful side with a variety of dishes. Its fruity taste is a wonderful complement to both warm and cold dishes. Quality is very important at Staud's and only the best organic elderberries are used to make this delicacy.
Recipe: Fluffy and airy Elderberry Pinwheels
Ingredients:
- 125 ml milk
- 40 g butter
- 250 g flour
- 1/2 pack dry yeast
- 50 g powdered sugar
- 1 jar Staud's Organic Stewed Elderberries
Warm the milk and butter and add to flour, dry yeast, and icing sugar in the food processor. Knead to form a smooth dough. Let it rise for about 30 minutes. Then knead the dough again with your hands and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle. Cut into 12 strips of equal size, spread a layer of stewed elderberries on them and roll them up immediately. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for about 12 minutes.
