There are classic flavours that are the ideal way to season hearty game dishes and dark meat with spices such as bay leaves, allspice, pepper and nutmeg.
However, this spice mix includes some exciting additions such as fruity ancho chilli (also known as poblano), sweet coconut blossom sugar, flowery Tahitian vanilla and exotic tonka beans.
Tip: As the name Wild Barbecue suggests, this spice mix is ideal as a dry rub for game meat such as wild boar and venison. It is also a great seasoning for beef. It adds a wonderful flavour and colour to dark sauces and hearty stews.
