Description
DIE KÄSEMACHER values high quality ingredients that are carefully produced. Thanks to a gentle heat treatment, the pickled specialties can be kept for up to a year without refrigeration.
The grilled peppers are marinated in a fine marinade and make wonderful snacks. They also look amazing on a charcuterie board. Here are a few other ways to use them:
- chop them up and add them to salads
- pureed as a base for homemade pesto
- minced or mashed as a delicious bruschetta or crostini topping
- as a filling for meat or fish
- pureed and mixed with cream cheese or sheep's cheese to make a hearty dip
Tip: drain the grilled peppers before eating and reheat them briefly in a pan or on the grill. Heating them lets their smoky notes develop perfectly.
