The Maschansker Apple Cider by Obsthof Neumeister has a full-bodied and multi-faceted taste thanks to its high tannin content. The cider is obtained by natural and spontaneous fermentation of the apple must without the addition of yeast. This single-variety apple cider is perfect for those who love tangy refreshing drinks with a rustic character. It is also delicious with home-cooked meals with or without meat.
Good to know: Maschansker apples are locally also known as "Winterapfel" or "Eisapfel". The trees are found primarily in Styria, Carinthia and occasionally in Lower Austria. Since Maschansker apple pulp has a naturally spicy and wine-like taste, this apple variety is ideal for making juice, dried fruit, cider and fruit brandy.
