Paldauer Scarlet Runner Beans with Curry

Scarlet runner beans are immensely popular in Austria, and in no state are better known than in Styria. In the 16th century, the scarlet runner bean found its way to Austrian cuisine, and since then, has never left. These speckly brown beans are mixed with curry for a hearty, flavorful dish. The beans have a number of beneficial nutrients, including a very high protein content.
