These muffins are perfect to have on hand when you're craving chocolate, when unexpected guests arrive or when you just need a little something to go with your coffee! The practical mix can be made with or without eggs (vegan) and only requires a few fresh ingredients. The easy to use mix is perfect for beginner bakers or kids.

For 8 chocolate muffins you'll need:

• 1 can baking mix
• 210 ml milk or plant-based drink (e.g. soy drink)
• 70 ml vegetable oil (sunflower, hazelnut or walnut oil, whatever you prefer)
• 1 egg

Baking time: approx. 35 min at 165 ° C (electric)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 165 ° C.
2. Open the freshness seal on the can and pour the baking mixture into a large bowl.
3. Add 210 ml of milk / vegetable drink and 70 ml of oil to the baking mixture.
4. Tip: In the can you'll find corresponding lines for measuring the liquids. If you are not making vegan muffins, add the egg. Mix everything briefly (1 min) by hand or with a mixer.
5. Fill the mixture into a muffin tin lined with cupcake wrappers. You can pipe the mix in if you would like, or just scoop it in using spoons or an ice cream scoop.
6. Bake in a preheated oven for about 35 minutes (don't forget to test the muffins- they're done when you push a toothpick into the centre and it comes out clean).
