Description
Birkengold Xylitol (birch sugar) is a great option for low-calorie baking and food preserving. Birch sugar contains 40% fewer calories than regular sugar and cane used in the same way as regular sugar: you can use it to sweeten beverages, bake and prepare jams and desserts. Simply replace the amount of sugar called for in the recipe with the same amount of Birkengold.
Note:
- Excessive consumption can have a laxative effect.
- Xylitol should not be given to pets, especially dogs, as ingestion of even a small amount can be dangerous.
