This very robust outdoor cucumber variety delights with its bitter-free taste, which makes it the perfect ingredient for deliciously fresh summer salads. It prefers a loose, humus-rich soil and a sunny location and should under no circumstances be transplanted or potted too early. It is best planted out after mid-May after when two real leaves have formed on the seedlings.

Our tip: pile the plant with soil when it has three to four leaves and relax after the fifth leaf. The fruit-bearing tendrils develop better and many richly bearing side shoots will form. Water the cucumbers in the morning with stagnant water.
