ZIRP Insects Falafel Mix

This ready to use mix can be used to make delicious falafel in no time! It consists of chickpea flour and mealworm powder and is seasoned with spices. This a great way to add variety to a healthy diet.

You'll need:

• Water
• Olive oil
• Vegetable oil
• A measuring cup

Preparation:

1. Mix 150 ml of boiling water and 1 tablespoon of olive oil with the contents of the pack.
2. Let the mixture cool down and then shape into patties or balls using wet hands.
3. Deep-fry in plenty of vegetable oil until crunchy and golden brown.
4. Drain the freshly cooked falafel on paper towels and serve.

Tip:

• The falafel go well with hummus, olives, fresh flatbread or a crunchy salad.
